At a fixed pressure, the temperature at which solid starts melting on absorbing heat is called its melting point at that pressure.
Boiling Point:
The temperature at which the whole volume of a liquid starts transforming into its vapor state rapidly under a fixed pressure is called the boiling point of that liquid at that pressure.
