Faraday’s Law of Electromagnetic Induction:
Farady put forward his observations in the form of two laws which are given below:
Faraday’s 1st law: Whenever there is a change of magnetic flux linked with a coil or a loop, an emf will be induced in the coil or the loop.
Faraday’s 2nd law The magnitude of the emf induced in a coil is directly proportional to the rate of change of magnitude flux linked with it.
This law gives the quantitative measure of the induced emf.
If φ is the total magnetic flux linked with a coil at an instant ‘t’, the emf induced at that instant is
e ∝ dφ/dt
