Newton’s Law of Cooling:
The rate of loss of heat by a body, due to radiation is directly proportional to the temperature difference between the body and its surroundings provided the temperature difference is small.
Conditions for Application of the law:
1. Temperature difference between the body and its surroundings should be small.
2. The body will cool by radiation.
